GDOL to Host Recruitment for Labor Hound in Savannah this Week

The Georgia Department of Labor will help staffing company Labor Hound recruit about 100 workers for companies in Savannah on Thursday, Feb. 25.

The recruitment will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the GDOL’s Savannah Career Center located at 5520 White Bluff Road.

The company will be recruiting construction electricians, general laborers, floor-covering installers, painters, finish/trim carpenters, drywall hangers, drywall finishers, housekeepers, furniture movers, building maintenance workers, brick-stone masons, heating and air conditioning assistants, electrician assistants and carpenter helpers.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. While some jobs do not require any experience, others may require one year. A high school diploma or General Education Diploma is preferred but not required.

Salaries are based on position and experience.
