Join the RHBC Chamber at its February Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, February 3rd from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Richmond Hill City Center for a presentation by Christy Sherman, executive director of the Richmond Hill Convention and Visitors Bureau and president of the Richmond Hill Historical Society and Mark Campbell, Treasurer of the Henry Ford Heritage Association in Michigan.
 
Mr. Campbell is a great-great nephew of Clara Ford. These organizations are partnering to raise awareness about the contributions of Henry and Clara Ford in Richmond Hill, promote tourism, and champion historic preservation.  Cheryl Hargrove with the Georgia Department of Economic Development, is scheduled to join the panel to discuss the state's efforts to bring tourism to Richmond Hill and to the Georgia coast.
 
In addition, guests will hear about upcoming preparations for The Clara Ford 150 events in Richmond Hill on April 23 which will commemorate Mrs. Ford’s 150 birthday. Guests will also learn about the economic impact of tourism in Richmond Hill and how all local businesses could be affected by these efforts.
