Savannah Stopover Releases Full Schedule & Additional Bands

Savannah Stopover Music Festival today released the full schedule for the 2016 festival detailing performance times and venues for 100+ bands scheduled to perform March 10th-12th in Savannah’s Historic District.
 
The full schedule is available at savannahstopover.com/schedule and is powered by Sched. Festival goers can create their own personal schedules which can be shared with friends, viewed on their mobile devices and shared via social media. The schedule can be viewed in 4 different layouts: by time, by date, by venue or as a full grid option.
 
The festival also announced ten additional bands to the lineup. Newly added bands include Wet Socks and Garden Giant from Savannah, GA as well as:
 
Lucy Dacus - Richmond, VA
Mobley - Austin, TX
Ancient Cities - Charlotte, NC
Scotty ATL - Atlanta, GA
The Fontaines - Los Angeles, CA
Bruiser Queen - St. Louis, MO
Joy Again - Philadelphia, PA
The High Divers - Charleston, SC

One hundred and five performances will take place during the 3 day weekend, including 3 secret shows, which will be announced one hour prior to the performance via the Stopover Twitter account (@SavStopover). Many of the headlining performances will take place in all ages venues this year including Ships Of The Sea Museum and Trinity United Church. In total, 40 performances will be accessible to those under 21.
 
Details for the Opening Night Event at Ships for the Sea Museum on Thursday night, March 10th have also been released. The event will take place from 6pm-9pm featuring three bands, the annual Band Poster Exhibition and more! Scheduled to perform are Breakers (Savannah, GA), Sun Club ( Baltimore, MD) and festival headliner Ra Ra Riot (Syracuse, NY). Food from Gaslight Group’s Blowin’ Smoke will also be available.
 
The Blake, Savannah’s newest Innovative Student Living project from Greystar, is sponsoring the Opening Night Event along with Do Savannah who is the Stage Sponsor for all three nights.  Admission to the event is included in both the 3-day festival pass as well as the single day pass for Thursday, March 10th, which grants access to all 20+ concerts planned for Thursday night.  Event-only tickets are available for $25.
