Savannah’s 6th Annual A-Town Get Down Music and Art Festival returns on Saturday, February 27, bringing together more than 25 live bands and visual artists for an all-day festival fit for all ages. The event will be held from noon until midnight at the Charles H. Morris Center in historic Savannah, Georgia. This year, the festival is free from noon until 5 p.m., inviting art and music lovers of all ages to come out and enjoy a day filled with endless inspiration. Known for their distinctive mix of rock, funk, and rhythm & blues, Robert Randolph & The Family Band will headline this year’s festival. Robert Randolph has been named one of Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” and has collaborated with the likes of Eric Clapton and Carlos Santana. Since their first album release in 2002, Robert Randolph & The Family Band has drawn fans from around the world.

Attendees will also enjoy performances by a variety of other musicians including Randall Bramblett, Paris Monster, Savannah native Andrae Murchison, Gill Landry of Old Crow Medicine Show, Infallible Funk, and many more!

In addition to live bands, guests can also experience visual art, including live art by Jose Ray, murals and sculptures created through the Loop It Up Savannah arts outreach program, spin-art, an array of kids arts & crafts, workshops, and digital art from Adobe. Another popular event at the festival is the open jam session where musicians of all experience levels are invited to bring their instruments up to the stage.
