Savannah area companies are being encouraged to apply for the Technology Association of Georgia’s first annual WellTec Awards. This award ceremony will take place in Savannah, GA in tandem with the 2016 Health Policy and Clinical Practice Conference.

The WellTech Connected Care Awards recognizes and celebrates the use of technology in innovation in driving better patient-caregiver relationships. The first annual awards will recognize the top 30 innovative providers in the region and provide additional recognition for those providers in these categories: hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and physician groups. Lastly, one overall “Most Innovative” award will be give across all categories.

The WellTech Awards will be presented during the 2016 Health Policy and Clinical Practice Conference that runs from March 31^st to April 2^nd, 2016. Located in Savannah, Georgia at the riverfront Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa. Four leading National Health Policy experts from the US Department of Health and Human Services, Agency for Health, Research and Quality, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and Altarium will provide content on the current status of the Affordable Care Act and planned reimbursement changes to occur in 2016.
