Queensborough National Bank and Trust Company announces the consolidation of the Garden City branch of Atlantic Coast Bank located at 213 US Hwy 80 West. All deposit accounts and two employees from Atlantic Coast Bank will join the Queensborough Bank team location across the street at 216 US Hwy 80 West. Queensborough National Bank and Trust is headquartered in Louisville, GA. Atlantic Coast Financial, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL., will continue Atlantic Coast Bank operations in Northeast Florida.

No loans are being purchased at this time. As the specific date for the changeover nears, transition teams from Queensborough and Atlantic Coast Bank will communicate with customers and be on hand to make the process as seamless as possible.

According to Bill Easterlin, CEO and President of Queensborough National Bank and Trust, “Queensborough recently purchased two Certus Bank locations in Savannah and Rincon. This third bank purchase will increase our customer base and give the Atlantic Coast customers significantly more convenience with four local branches and 25 across Georgia.” 

Mike English is the Regional Manager of all four branches in the Savannah area. “Customers of the current Atlantic Coast Bank location need only to literally cross the street and they will find their account information and favorite bankers now working with Queensborough.”
