BankSouth Announces Relationship Optimization & Customer Service Associate of the Year Awards

BankSouth, a top 20 community bank in the nation founded in 1946, honored outstanding members of the BankSouth team at its first annual awards ceremony which was held at the University of Georgia’s Conference Center in Athens, Ga., on February 20, 2016.

Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager Heather Peloquin of BankSouth in the Savannah market was presented the “Relationship Optimization” award for her exceptional customer service and her focus on evaluating customer needs to offer a more comprehensive banking experience. Peloquin was honored for her first-rate service as a trusted advisor and advocate for her clients.

BankSouth Mortgage Market Production Manager Michael Caputo, who oversees the daily operations of the lending institution in the Savannah market, was also presented the “Relationship Optimization” award for his exceptional management of clients’ needs and his focus on placing customers with the right banking and mortgage solutions. With over 20 years of experience as a local mortgage loan officer, Caputo works closely with the BankSouth retail team to ensure clients receive an optimal banking and lending experience.

With over 22 years in the banking industry, BankSouth Retail Banking Associate Kay Peacock, received the “Customer Service Associate of the Year” award for her outstanding level of customer service, as well as serving as an advocate for customer experience enhancements and eliminating barriers to customer satisfaction. Peacock was also honored for her overwhelmingly positive customer interactions.
