Halski Systems Acquires Digital Doc to Expand IT Services in Savannah Region

Halski Systems announced its acquisition of Digital Doc, the innovative leader in IT services for small businesses and professionals in the Savannah region. Founded in 2007 by Eric Sharpe, the Digital Doc team will continue to support existing clients as Digi Doc, a division of Halski Systems. Eric Sharpe has joined the Halski corporate team as Director of Marketing. He will be responsible for external communications, social media and online content generation, and providing valuable content about the company and it’s subsidiaries. Lewis Halski welcomed Sharpe and his team; “We carefully looked for an IT services operation in Savannah that would complement our company’s skills and commitment to a high level of customer care. Eric’s strong reputation as a businessman and supporter of the Savannah community led us to this valuable transaction.”
Sharpe was recognized in 2014 as a Savannah’s Generation NEXT Rising Star. His company was recognized as Best Computer Repair in 2015 by the readers of Connect Magazine. Sharpe founded Digital Doc while a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design from which he graduated with an Advertising Design BFA in 2007. Sharpe remarked, “Our acquisition by Halski offers our clients access to an increased range of IT services including hosting at Halski’s data centers, managed services, Disaster Recovery, and complete line of Hardware and software solutions for larger businesses.
