Matilda Jane Clothing Seeks Savannah Area Nonprofits for Philanthropic Program

Robyn Shirley, Independent Trunk Keeper with Matilda Jane Clothing is seeking is seeking qualified Savannah nonprofit organizations to enroll in the company’s Spring 2016 Janes Give Back Program. This effort directs a portion of sales to qualifying charities during shows scheduled during the week of April 18-30.

“Philanthropy is at the heart of Matilda Jane Clothing and we are excited to reach out to Savannah area nonprofits and share this exciting program with them,” said Robyn Shirley, Savannah area Team Leader and Trunk Keeper. “The program is a direct result of our independent Trunk Keepers asking for the company to support them in their efforts to help charitable organizations.”

Organizations wishing to apply for the Spring 2016 Janes Give Back Program must be qualified charitable agencies per IRS publication 526. Examples include nonprofit charities, nonprofit educational organizations, nonprofit hospitals and religious organizations.

“With a maximum donation level of 20%, this is a perfect time to invite everyone you know to a show, because the level of participation drives the donation level,” Shirley added. “Matilda Jane also will be randomly drawing one Trunk Show to win a $1,000 bonus contribution, and I would love it if we could present that check right here in the Savannah area.”
