The Memorial Health Foundation Board of Trustees confirmed six new members at its February meeting: Nadine Bothwell, Paul Coggins, Heather Fountain, Jenny Gentry, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Jim Myrick.

“We are very excited to welcome these new members to the Foundation board,” said Bill Donahue, chair of the Memorial Health Foundation Board of Trustees. “All six are leaders in the community and will contribute important skills and guidance to our board. Together, we will help Memorial acquire the financial resources it needs to care for the people in our region.”

Nadine Bothwell is the president of The One Hundred, a fundraising auxiliary focused on supporting the Dwaine and Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah.  Before retirement, Bothwell worked in the insurance industry, serving both individuals and large corporations.

Paul Coggins began Coggins Promotional Advertising in 2001. Before that, he managed key accounts with Wood Associates, which served clients such as Apple, Microsoft, and Cisco Systems. For 14 years prior, he managed accounts in the southeast for Fletcher-Barnhardt & White, Inc., also a promotional company.

Heather Fountain graduated from Mercer University with a master's degree in early childhood education. She began The Next Generation in 2009 to expand the services and improve the patient experience at The Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center.

Jenny Gentry serves as market president of Wells Fargo Bank. She began her career with the company in 1981, when it was Wachovia Bank. Gentry also serves on the boards of United Way of the Coastal Empire, the YMCA, and Georgia Southern University, her alma mater.

Chris Kirkpatrick is the region president of Fifth Third Bank Savannah and the Georgia coastal region. Kirkpatrick received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Kentucky and an MBA with concentrations in risk management and finance from Georgia State University. He is treasurer of The Ossabaw Island Foundation and the 2015 corporate chair for the Light the Night Walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.   

Jim Myrick is president of Myrick Marine Contracting Corp.  He is also a board member of the International Propeller Club of the United States; past president and board member of the Propeller Club Port of Savannah; a member of the board of the Seaman’s House/Savannah Port Society; a member of the Savannah Maritime Association; and a member of the Savannah Downtown Rotary Club.  Myrick is a graduate of Belmont Abbey College.
