Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire and the Childrens Hospital at Memorial Medical Hospital will host the Red Shoes Run, a 5K Run/Walk/ or Stroller, on Saturday, March 26th , 2016, at the Savannah Ronald McDonald House, 4710 Waters Avenue Savannah Georgia.  
 
Dubbed the mini-bridge run, this 5K is perfect training for those aiming for the big one at the end of the year and all in between.  Strollers are welcome. The family friendly fundraiser will also feature additional free activities including fun with Ronald McDonald, a mile kiddie run, music, with food provided by Sams Club of Pooler and refreshments by Coca-Cola Bottling.  Come out and root your loved ones on, as their will be games, prizes and lots of surprises for the whole family to enjoy.
 
Visit www.runsignup.com, key words Red Shoes Run to register for the 5K or obtain a paper registration by visiting Fleet Feet Sports, the Ronald McDonald House or log onto www.rmhccoastalempire.org. The fee is $30 through March 25th and $35 race day.  Online registration will close at noon on March 25th.
 
Early Packet pick up is available at Fleet feet Sports on Friday, March 25th, 10 AM- 6 PM for those who pre-registered.  Day of registration and packet pick up begins at 7 AM, the kiddie run begins at 8:30 AM, and the 5K begins at 8:45 AM.  Post-race activities including awards for winners, entertainment, refreshments and celebrity guest Ronald McDonald will last until 12 pm.
