Savannah Friends of Music to Host Fashion Show

Savannah Friends of Music will host its annual Rhythm and Style Fashion Show, Luncheon and Raffle on April 5, 2016. The event will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Plantation Club Ballroom at The Landings on Skidaway Island. Festivities will begin with a social hour from 11:00 to noon, during which raffle tickets for a range of fantastic prizes will be sold.  A cash bar will be available.

Luncheon will be followed by the annual fashion show featuring a range of stylish fashions by Chico’s, White House/Black Market and Soma.  Hair and make up for the models will be created by Brian Davis Salon.

Patron tickets are available for $100 per person to include acknowledgement in the program. This annual fundraising event will benefit the non-profit organization, Savannah Friends of Music which has donated over $700,000 to support classical music and music education in Savannah and the surrounding area since the organization was created in 2003.  SFOM has given grants to provide music education to students applying for private music lessons and summer music camps as well as organizations committed to developing excellence in classical music including the Armstrong Youth Orchestra, the Garrison Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, the Savannah Arts Academy, the American Traditions Competition, the Savannah VOICE Festival and the Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus.
