Suzanne Wisdom has been appointed to serve National Court Appointed Special Advocates Association as a member of the newly formed marketing and communications network committee.

Network committees will advise and provide support to National CASA Association in its work on behalf of state organizations and local programs, by sharing expertise and providing input and guidance. The newly formed committees will focus their efforts in cultivating growth in four key functional areas of the organization: legal/advocacy, marketing/communications, performance measurement, and the organization’s annual national conference.

“Through strong partnerships and collaborative strategies, together we will strengthen the foundation of the CASA/GAL member network, create pathways for sustainable organizational growth, and generate better outcomes for the abused and neglected children served in the communities we serve,” said Tara Perry, Chief Executive Officer of National CASA Association.

Suzanne Wisdom, MPA, Executive Director, with Savannah/Chatham CASA in Savannah, GA, was appointed to the National CASA Association Marketing and Communications Committee.  Along with 11 other CASA colleagues from across the county, Suzanne will be sharing her expertise in marketing and communications.  She served as a founding Executive Director of CASA of Bradley County in Cleveland, TN from 2007 until 2015 when she accepted the position of Executive Director of Savannah/Chatham CASA.   Her history of starting a CASA program from the ground up as well as serving in different types of communities gives her a unique perspective on the communications and marketing needs of a CASA organization.

“I am excited and honored to be appointed to this committee.  It feels great being able to take the things I’ve learned as a CASA director over the years and give input that may help other CASA agencies nationwide,” said Suzanne Wisdom, Savannah/Chatham CASA Executive Director.

“This engagement with state and local members is rooted in the National CASA Association Strategic Framework,” said Perry. “We are very appreciative and excited to have this level of talent serving on these committees.”
