Recently, Armstrong State University’s Marketing and Communications Department won a Silver Award in the website category at the 31st Annual Educational Advertising Awards.

Sponsored by the Higher Education Marketing Report, the Annual Educational Advertising Awards is the largest competition of its kind in the United States and features a panel of judges who are industry specialists. The judges look for creativity, a message that spurs viewers to action and seamless execution of a marketing strategy.

This year, the judges reviewed 2,000 entries from multiple countries before selecting the 280 institutions whose work was worthy of a Silver Award. Armstrong was one of 49 institutions awarded for superior website design.

Armstrong’s new website, designed in conjunction with Stamats and launched in September 2015, boasts mobile technology responsiveness and optimized navigation. The state-of-the-art website strategically integrates photography, videos and social media, yet stays true to the university’s signature maroon and gold color palette.
