The Bank of America Charitable Foundation Awards $12K Grant to Park Place Outreach

The Bank of America Charitable Foundation, Inc. presented Park Place Outreach – Youth Emergency Shelter with a $12,500 grant to support the organization’s ongoing efforts to improve life for homeless, abused and runaway youth and their families in the Savannah community.

“Connecting at-risk youth in Savannah to the resources offered by Park Place is critical to the overall success of our community,”, said Chris Sotus, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and board member of Park Place. “Bank of America’s philanthropic investments help strengthen Savannah by partnering with local organizations to address the pressing issues that face our community.”

The Bank of America Charitable Foundation provides funding to meet the needs of communities, with a particular focus on revitalizing neighborhoods, educating the workforce for 21st century jobs and addressing basic needs, such as hunger and homelessness.
