Ronald McDonald House Announces Annual Charity Fundraiser, Wine Women & Shoes

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Thursday, April 14th, 2016

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire will host the third annual Wine, Women & Shoes, on Thursday, April 21 at the Georgia State Railroad Museum, located at 655 Louisville Rd., Savannah GA 31401.

Featured this year is teenage cancer survivor, Jillian’s Challenge. Inspired by the work of the Ronald McDonald House, 17 year old Jillian Drapper is working to give other children and families the opportunity to have the support that she and her mom experienced here in Savannah at RMH. Of course, she wants to do it “her way.” Drapper’s Challenge: help her raise money for the House by setting goals to have Executive Director Bill Sorochak change something about himself. The goals: $5,000 (Sorochak pierces his ear)/ $10,000 (Sorochak shaves his head) and $25,000 (Sorochak gets a tattoo).
