Ryan Sewell Joins Seacrest Partners as Client Executive

Ryan Sewell has joined the Savannah office of Seacrest Partners, Inc. as client executive in the firm’s property-casualty insurance practice.  Ryan brings 10 years of commercial insurance and risk management experience to his new position with Seacrest. 

Working on behalf of middle market to large corporate accounts throughout Georgia and South Carolina, Ryan analyzes risk exposures, designs cost-effective risk management and risk transfer plans, then negotiates pricing, terms and conditions with the insurance markets. Once programs are placed, he monitors client operations for new risk exposures, analyzes claims activity, and advocates on behalf of clients when complex claims occur. During his career, Ryan has gained in-depth experience in a wide range of industries, from the hospitality sector to real estate development and construction. His areas of technical expertise focus on workers compensation and international risks. 

Prior to joining Seacrest, he served as a vice president with Bernard Williams & Company in Savannah where he managed commercial insurance programs for a number of prominent businesses and not-for-profit organizations.

Ryan is well known in the Savannah community for his dedication to serving numerous charitable and social service organizations.  He is the past chairman and a current board member of Savannah/Chatham Court Appointed Special Advocates and is a member of the United Way Campaign Cabinet and previously served on UW’s Investments & Allocations Committee. In addition, he is a board member with the Savannah Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber’s Foundation.  He also serves on the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Executive Committee, is a board member with the Savannah Sports Council, and is an active member of the St. Joseph’s/ Candler annual fundraising event, Candler Clays. He is also a graduate of Leadership Savannah, Class of 2012.

Ryan earned the Chartered Property-Casualty Underwriter designation and is a past chairman of the local CPCU Society. A native of Savannah and a graduate of Benedictine Military School, he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia.  During college, he played football and was a member of UGA’s 2005 SEC Championship Team.
