Taking care of your pets can’t get any better than saving some money on your pets’ health care at the Sixth Annual Pet Care and Adoption Fair on Saturday, May 7^th, 2016 from 11:00 Noon to 3:00pm. It will take place at Islands Towne Center in Whitemarsh Island, on 4717 US HWY 80 East, adjacent to Publix, TailsSpin and Walmart.

Services available will include Low-Cost Pet Vaccinations and Heartworm Testing provided by Dr. Beth Martin, Low-Cost Pet Micro-chipping, Pet Nail Clipping and Dog Washes.

100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Islands High School Veterinary Science program and the participating local pet rescue agencies. The fun-filled event is expected to draw over 1000 people, with over 30 vendors, including Groomers, Veterinarians, and Trainers.  Pet Food Manufacturers and other vendors are scheduled to participate, offering a variety of products including handmade pet clothing and accessories, jewelry, dog collars, and more!

A number of local area Pet Rescue Agencies are scheduled be present with pets available for adoption, including Bryan Animal Caregivers, Coastal Pet Rescue, Companion Animal Aid Rescue, Dachshund Rescue of North America, DREAM Dachshund Rescue, The Islands Feral Cat Project, Grateful Golden Retriever Rescue, Humane Society of Greater Savannah, Georgia Rescue Rehabilitation & Relocation, One Love Animal Rescue, and Save-A-Life. Pet food representatives from Blue Buffalo, Precise, Nutrisource, Wellness, Lotus, Zignature, and Natural Balance Pet Foods, and more are also scheduled to be present.

For every local pet rescue adoption, TailsSpin Pet Food and Accessories will assist new pet owners with a pet adoption package including a free small bag of dog or cat food, a free engraved pet ID tag, a coupon for a free self-serve dog wash, and 10% off their purchase that day.  TailsSpin will also host a store-wide one-day sale at all three of its stores, in Whitemarsh Island, Savannah and Pooler.
