The 8th Annual Tybee Wine Festival, presented by the Tybee Post Theater, will be held April 20-24, 2016 on picture-perfect Tybee Island, located just 20 minutes east of historic Savannah, Ga. This year’s event features five days of international wines, fine food, and live music set in multiple venues across the island.

“The Tybee Wine Festival has truly evolved into one of Tybee’s signature annual events, growing year over year in popularity,” said Melissa Turner, executive director of Tybee Post Theater. “The five-day festival is the perfect way to experience Tybee Island during such a beautiful time of the year. The festival offers attendees a welcome respite from the pressures of our busy lives with fantastic food and wine in a glorious island setting.”

The Tybee Wine Festival will kick-off with A Celebration of Earth and Vine Wednesday, April 20. The event pays homage to the 46th Anniversary of Earth Week with an elegant five-course wine dinner prepared by five celebrity chefs from Tybee Island and Savannah. Each of the dishes and the accompanying wines will be inspired by the bounty of earth and presented personally by each chef.
