Coastal Heritage Society to Host May’s “Martinis at the Mansion”

Coastal Heritage Society will host this month’s “Martinis at the Mansion” event on Wednesday, May 18 5:30 to 7:30 pm. at Casimir’s Lounge at the Mansion on Forsyth Park, 700 Drayton St., Savannah, GA 31401.

Attendees will enjoy networking and testing their knowledge of Savannah history, facts, and lore with Savannah themed trivia. Guests can compete for a chance to win special prizes, such as a one-year membership to Coastal Heritage Society, museum passes, and a copy of David Wondrich’s “Imbibe!: A Salute in Stories and Drinks”.

This month’s event will focus on educating the public about Coastal Heritage Society’s “Cultured Coast” events, which provide members and the community diverse and engaging opportunities to connect with one another and experience history in unique and exciting ways. In previous years, Cultured Coast attendees have enjoyed a sailing adventure, wine tastings and exclusive tours.

“We are excited to see new faces at this event and engage and share our enthusiasm about keeping Savannah's history alive as an educational organization,” said Catherine Duffy, Membership and Development Coordinator at Coastal Heritage Society. “History does not have to be boring, in fact it's just the opposite. CHS truly has something for everyone and our goal is to show our visitors that.”
