The Georgia Department of Labor’s Savannah Career Center will assist J.L. Wallace, Inc. in hiring at least 20 workers in the building trades on Monday, May 23.   

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the career center located at 5520 White Bluff Road.

The company is recruiting carpenters, electricians, and painters, along with heating, ventilation and air conditioning workers.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. While it is not required, a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma is preferred.

All positions require appropriate certifications, background checks and skills-related experience.

Salaries will vary depending on the position and experience.
