Students from the Savannah Arts Academy’s  Visual Arts Department have  donated a portion of the proceeds from their 2016 Junk 2 Funk fashion shows to Hospice Savannah. Held in late January, the eighth annual event had an “Intergalactic” theme and featured space-inspired designs made from recycled and reclaimed materials.

Studio art drawing instructor Steve Schetski, whose father died under hospice care, presented a check for $500 to Kim Stangle, Vice President of the Hospice Savannah Foundation. This is the fourth time the students have selected Hospice Savannah as a recipient of proceeds.
