Savannah to Host Tour Kickoff For 2016 Graveface Roadshow - June 8th

Graveface Records, the renowned Savannah based record label, today confirmed details of it’s 2016 Graveface Roadshow. The 20 market tour will kick off in Savannah on Wednesday, June 8th at Southern Pine Company. Casket Girls will headline the tour with supporting acts Stardeath & White Dwarfs, Hospital Ships and The Marshmallow Ghosts. An additional Savannah local act will be announced.

Graveface has teamed up with MusicFile Productions/Savannah Stopover to co-promote the June 8th concert event following on the heels of the Graveface Records Showcase at Stopover 2016. The all ages show will take place at Southern Pine Company in Savannah, located at 616 East 35th Street, beginning at 7pm. Tickets for the five band event are $15.00 and can be purchased through Ticketfly or at Graveface Records & Curiosities, located at 5 West 40th Street in Savannah, beginning Wednesday, May 11th.

The Casket Girls will release their 3rd album The Night Machines on June 3rd. Stardeath and White Dwarfs is an experimental rock band from Norman, Oklahoma, formed in late 2004. The band has released two albums, one single ("Toast & Marmalade For Tea") on Half Machine Records and an EP, as well as contributing to The Flaming Lips' 2009 remake of The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd.The band consists of Dennis Coyne, Casey Joseph, Matt Duckworth and Ford Chastain. Lead singer Coyne is the nephew of Flaming Lips lead singer Wayne Coyne while Duckworth took over as the Lips’ drummer in 2014.

Hospital Ships
Jordan Geiger has been releasing records for the last 15 years, both as a solo musician under the Hospital Ships moniker as well as a band member in groups including Shearwater, Des Ark, and Minus Story. The Past is Not a Flood, which came out March 1, 2016 on Graveface Records, is his fourth full-length as Hospital Ships. This also marks his sixth record with famed producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, The Walkmen, Modest Mouse, etc). The band last played Savannah March 12th at Savannah Stopover’s Graveface Showcase.

The Marshmallow Ghosts have developed a cult following as everyone's favorite year round Halloween band. Known for their annual Halloween release and rotating cast of Graveface musicians and friends, expect some surprises from this special Savannah only appearance.
