The Next Generation, a volunteer organization founded to benefit the Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah, is pleased to announce its 3rd Annual Summer Soiree.  Sponsored by Ameris Bank, the event will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Savannah Yacht Club located at 730 Bradley Point Rd.

As the sun sets on the Savannah Yacht Club, guests will enjoy an evening of South Beach inspired fun at the annual Summer Soiree which will feature a spread of Cuban-infused tapas, heavy hors d'oeuvres and specialty cocktails and DJ music to dance the night away.

“This year, we really wanted to do something fun and inspirational,” said Tracey Tollison, Summer Soiree chair and co-owner of Tollison & Co. “South Beach is all about refined relaxation, luxury and its energetic nightlife and we’re working to recreate the same experience for our guests so they will not only have an incredible time but be inspired to help us fund TNG’s mission.”

“We are fortunate to have the friendship and vision of this wonderful organization. Together, Memorial Health and The Next Generation are ensuring healthcare for children throughout our region for generations to come. The Summer Soiree has become a much-anticipated annual event. It is a fun way to support the Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah and grow its much-needed services,” said Bill Lee, chief strategy officer and senior vice president at Memorial Health.

The Next Generation is raising money to complete funding for the new neonatal intensive care ambulance as part of the organization’s Angel Wings Campaign. TNG recently made a $125,000 donation to Willett Children’s Hospital to order the new ambulance and proceeds from the Summer Soiree will go toward the remaining balance of $150,000.

Tickets cost $100 per person and can be purchased online at www.nextgenerationsavannah.com. For more information about sponsorship opportunities and how you can support TNG’s mission to fund the neonatal ambulance, please contact Jamie Lane at [email protected]
