Summer Nights Information Meeting for Party Hosts to be Held May 16th

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Wednesday, May 4th, 2016

A Summer Nights party helps fund  many of the “extra” services and programs offered by not-for-profit Hospice Savannah. Friends and supporters are encouraged to host a party during June…a picnic, a dinner, a brunch…whatever works for them! Party planning help and ideas, including attractive invitations and donation cards, will be available at a wine and cheese information meeting for potential hosts. The Hospice Savannah Foundation will host the meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 16 at the Demere Center for Living, 6000 Business Center Drive, off Chatham Parkway in Savannah. More information is also available by calling Ophelia Rodriguez at 912.629.1027 or by visiting www.HospiceSavannah.org/SummerNights

Donations from party guests are tax-deductible and help support caregivers during challenging times through the work of the Edel Caregiver Institute; offer comfort to those living with serious illness through the Steward Center for Palliative Care; and, with the help of Full Circle’s bereavement staff and volunteers, ensure that friends and neighbors need not face loss alone. They also help in honoring the patriotic service of veterans under Hospice Savannah’s care, keep beloved pets together with their patients, provide massage therapy, music therapy and story keeping, and help make a difference each and every day in the lives of Hospice Savannah patients and their families.
