Bud Mingledorff and Mike Stephens Named to SJ/C Foundations Board

The St. Joseph’s/Candler Foundations provide philanthropic support so that the health system can fulfill its mission.
 
St. Joseph’s/Candler has developed a strategy which ensures continued access to clinical services and programs, while ensuring the financial strength of our system for the continued availability of healthcare services across the many communities we serve.
 
The SJ/C Foundations successfully completed Phase I of our current initiative, Advancing Excellence: Touching Lives, by raising $5.1 million in two years. Phase II just began this year and includes projects to enhance the patient experience throughout the system.

The SJ/C Foundations Board of Trustees consists of 18 leaders from Savannah’s business, healthcare and religious communities. The two new members are:
 
Bud Mingledorff has been Chairman of the Board of Mingledorff Incorporated, an air-conditioning company, since 2008. The company operates in six states with its headquarters in Atlanta and branch offices in Savannah and Hilton Head Island.
 
Bud is a graduate of Savannah Country Day School (1960 – 1964) and Wofford College (1964 – 1968) with a degree in accounting.
 
Bud has also served as President of Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International, Peachtree Corners Rotary Club, Ansley Kiwanis Club, the GA Wholesaler's Association and the medium size business chairman for the Gwinnett County United Way.
 
Bud currently resides in Bluffton, SC with Shirley, his wife of 35 years.
 
Mike Stephens is the founder and president of Partner Ally LLC. He started the company after 12 years as managing director at Advantage Consulting Group where he helped companies plan, develop and launch affinity and co-branded credit card alliances.
 
Mr. Stephens was also a Senior VP at Wachovia Corporation and was involved key management roles in international banking, treasury services and the corporation’s credit card subsidiary.
 
A native of Greensboro, N.C., Mr. Stephens graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1975 with a degree in business administration. He is currently a member of the Advisory Board of UNC’s Global Education Center. He created the Michael W. Stephens Internship fund at UNC Global for undergraduate students.
 
His leadership and volunteer activities have included serving on the boards of the Shepherd Center Foundation and Buckhead Christian Ministry in Atlanta.
 
He and his wife, Linda, have three children. Mr. and Mrs. Stephens moved to Savannah from Atlanta two years ago and currently reside in the Landings.
 
Mr. Stephens is semi-retired and is a member of The Cathedral in Savannah.
