Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Wednesday, June 1st, 2016

A native Savannahian for many generations, Ann is very familiar with the city and its neighborhoods. She grew up in Ardsley Park, then spent 41 years on deep water in an old riverfront community.  Ann owns and has sold real estate in Historic Savannah, and loves to work there.  A member of the Landings Club for 29 years, where she has sold several properties, she is intimately familiar with its homes and amenities, most of which she has watched the development of.

Ann is an avid sportswoman who has boated, sailed, and fished in Savannah’s rivers, and hunted in neighboring counties. She competed in local tennis leagues for over 25 years, and is now an avid golfer.

Ann is a graduate of Savannah Country Day School and Duke University. She taught Upper School before becoming a real estate agent. She is a former President of the Episcopal Church Women of St. John’s Church, where she has been a parishioner for 35 years. Additionally, Ann enjoys writing and has published poems, essays, and short stories in several periodicals.

Ann is happiest selling real estate when she is able to find an elusive offering that has evaded a buyer. On the day she received her license, she found a property for a friend who had looked for years. Today she continues that search for her customers and clients.

Real estate has long been a passion - Michael "Hash" Brown has bought and sold more than 20 homes for himself. He studies real estate listings and the market the way some people study sports statistics! Hash is licensed in Georgia, with focus on Savannah and Pooler. Hash is a communications and marketing expert who has served three U.S. presidents as a political appointee, twice on the White House professional staff and at the U.S. State Department with Secretary Colin Powell. Hash was an executive with Fleishman-Hillard, one of the world's largest public relations firms. His clients have included Starbucks, Nike, and Savannah College of Art & Design. He has worked with journalists around the globe, including reporters, editors, and producers for the New York Times, Washington Post, New Yorker, Agence France-Presse, BBC, NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, Fox News, and CNN. Michael was graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a BA in politics and government. Hash and his partner live in Savannah's Historic District. They collect contemporary art, and have healthy appetites for travel and tacos.
