Daniel R. Crook Named HunterMaclean Real Estate Practice Group Leader

Savannah attorney Daniel Crook was recently named Real Estate Practice Group Leader at HunterMaclean, a leading business law firm in Savannah and Brunswick. As practice group leader, one of four in the firm, Daniel is responsible for aligning goals for the group and its individual attorneys for professional and business development. He follows Adam Kirk, who has served in that position since 2011.

“Daniel brings a unique perspective to this position in firm management,” said Brad Harmon, HunterMaclean managing partner. “His practice bridges all aspects of commercial real estate and corporate transactions. He also practiced in a large international law firm for many years.  His legal expertise and experiences will greatly assist the firm and its attorneys.”

Daniel joined HunterMaclean in 2009 after practicing in Atlanta. His practice encompasses commercial real estate, corporate law, and company mergers & acquisitions, reflecting his background in both law and economics. This multi-faceted experience enables Daniel to provide comprehensive counsel to his clients.

Through his involvement and board service with charitable and civic organizations, Daniel is an active member of the greater Savannah community. He is the past president and current vice president of the board of Quantum, Inc., which creates high-quality, sustainable jobs for people with disabilities through the development of viable commercial business ventures.

Daniel graduated with highest honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science in public policy. He received his juris doctor degree and master of laws degree with a concentration in taxation from Northwestern University School of Law. He is a graduate of the Leadership Savannah class of 2013-2014 and was recognized in 2014 by the Fulton County Daily Report as an “Attorney on the Rise.”
