Patti Lyons Appointed by Governor to Planning Committee for Inaugural Georgia Senior Hunger Summit in September

Senior Citizens, Inc. is pleased to announce that SCI President Patti Lyons was recently appointed by Governor Deal to serve on the planning committee for the inaugural Georgia Summit on Senior Hunger this September, which is being hosted by the Georgia Department of Human Services’ Division of Aging Services.
“I’m so excited that the State is addressing this critical issue,” said Lyons, “and I’m honored to be asked to help bring about a meaningful discussion of the implications, impact, policy and potential solutions for the seniors in our state.”
