The Pooler City Council this week approved a site plan for a CVS Pharmacy on the corner of Grand Central Boulevard and Godley Station Boulevard, just off Pooler Parkway.

In addition, council members on Monday approved a request to recombine two lots on the CVS site, creating one 1.8-acre lot for the 11,945-square-foot pharmacy and a separate two-acre lot.

During planning commission review of the CVS plans June 13, Travis Ortner with Adams & Wilson Development said the hope is to have the CVS open by February or March 2017.

In other business Monday, the council approved a site plan for the first warehouse at the new Morgan Lakes Industrial Park and adopted the city’s millage rate for tax year 2016. Pooler officials adopted a roll back rate of 3.909 for the 2016 tax year.
