The Technology Association of Georgia, Hub Magazine's Bytes, and TAG Savannah announced a partnership with America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia as part of a state wide food and fund drive that will challenge local technology companies to benefit their regional food bank. The competition is part of TAG’s Day of Service initiative with the Georgia Food Bank Association.

“Households in own community struggle to put enough food on the table for their families. We are thrilled to be partnering with TAG Savannah and the technology industry to lessen their burden. Their support will have a real impact on our ability to address hunger locally,” said Mary Jane Crouch, Executive Director, America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia

Bytes for Bites is a statewide food and fund drive competition whereby tech companies raise resources for regional food banks. The prestigious TAG B4B Cup will be awarded to the company that raises the most food and funds per employee. A TAG Chapter award will be given to the chapter that raises the most pounds per person.

“TAG Savannah is happy to participate in this honorable competition to help our local community, we hope to showcase what the technology community in Savannah is capable of,” said Casey Herrington, TAG Savannah Program Director.
