200 Club of the Coastal Empire at Grayson Stadium July 23rd

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Friday, July 15th, 2016

The Two Hundred Club of the Coastal Empire is teaming up with the Savannah Bananas to host Red, White and Blue Night at Grayson Stadium on Saturday, July 23. The Two Hundred Club developed the “Red, White and Blue” fundraising Campaign because those colors represent the three services the non-profit organization supports - fire, EMS and law enforcement - with significant financial assistance including a fully paid college education for the whole family, when a family loses a loved one in the line of duty www.twohundredclub.org

The day of baseball will begin with a game between Coastal Empire first responders at 4:30 p.m. prior to the Savannah Bananas game at 7:00 p.m.  There will be fun games and other activities: the first pitch will be thrown by a 200 Club family member with the first base coach from the 200 Club.  A 200 Club Memorial of fallen first responders as well as first responder equipment will be on display. There will fireworks at the end of the evening. The Tickets are priced at $15.00 per person and are all-inclusive; including game admission, unlimited chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs, popcorn, dessert, water & soda.

The Savannah Bananas organization is hosting a series of fundraising events this summer to support local non-profits and the July 23 event is a great opportunity for the 200 Club to raise awareness and funds from a 50/50 raffle and by receiving a percentage of ticket sales.  Tickets must be purchased through the Two Hundred Club For tickets contact Karen Sawers, 912-721-4418 or to purchase online visit http://twohundredclub.org/red-white-blue-baseball-evening/

President of The 200 Club, Mark Dana said, “We are thrilled to be selected by The Savannah Bananas as one of their chosen charities for their first season.  Not only will the funds raised assist us in our work to help those who protect us but it also promises to be great fun for the families of first responders who are participating.”

President, Jared Orton, "We are incredibly excited to host a night here at Historic Grayson Stadium in conjunction with the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire. This will be a wonderful Red, White and Blue Night for all the first responders and their families.  Between the softball game for local first responders, a fireworks show after the Bananas game, and the opportunity to raise money for the 200 Club, we can't wait for July 23rd!"
