The Georgia Department of Labor will help Source4Teachers, an educational staffing company, recruit more than 20 substitute teachers to work in Chatham County elementary, middle and high schools.

There will be three separate recruitments. They will be held on Friday, July 15, Friday, July 22, and Friday July 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the GDOL’s Savannah Career Center located at 5520 White Bluff Road.

All applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a four-year college degree and a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate.

No teaching experience is required, so recent college graduates, as well as experienced teachers may apply.

Salaries range from $100 to $180 a day.
