A new mobile travel app, replicating the Bonaventure Historical Society’s popular guided tours, is now available for iOS and Android mobile devices at iTunes.com.

The app, which costs $4.99, takes visitors on a 31-stop tour of the earliest and most famous gravesites of the cemetery.  It takes an estimated hour to complete the tour, along with stoppage time for photographs or additional study of sites.  A free sampler app, containing only 4 stops is also available.  Go to https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/savannah-experiences/id988801995?mt=8 to access the options.  Proceeds from the app sales are used to support the Society’s restoration and preservation activities.

Each stop on the tour is narrated by a BHS volunteer member.  The opening and closing narrations are by Sonny Dixon, a popular newscaster in Savannah for over 20 years.
