Belk Savannah Region presented 1,080 school uniforms to United Way of the Coastal Empire to distribute to children in need through the school system.  This generous donation ensures students, whose families cannot afford school uniforms, have them to wear this school year. 

Many low-income families in our community struggle to pay for school uniforms. Belk’s donation of new, high-quality clothing not only helps the families stretch their dollars, but it also helps ensure their children don’t have to miss school simply because their parents can’t afford uniforms. 

United Way of the Coastal Empire is grateful for Belk’s generosity.  Last year, local Belk and its associates gave more than $10,000 to United Way’s annual fundraising campaign.
