Art Rise Announces Kayla Goggin as Managing Director

Art Rise Savannah is pleased to announce Kayla Goggin as the organization’s new Managing Director. Working alongside Art Rise Savannah’s executive director and volunteers, Goggin will be responsible for developing the organization’s marketing strategies, overseeing grants and fundraising efforts, and managing Art Rise’s growing membership.

Having a creative, committed, and passionate team of people behind Art Rise is of the utmost importance when it comes to growing our impact and quality on all fronts. Based on my years of working with Kayla, I know that we could not have found a better person for this position.”
 
Goggin is a writer, editor and arts advocate. Prior to joining Art Rise Savannah as Managing Director, Goggin served as the Savannah Art Informer’s editor for three years. She will continue to edit the online arts magazine, which is an invaluable program of Art Rise Savannah. The Savannah Art Informer connects readers to local artists and exhibitions and provides a venue for local art critique.
 
Goggin holds a BFA in art history from the Savannah College of Art and Design and recently graduated from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism’s prestigious Publishing Course. She is the art columnist for Connect Savannah, the communications coordinator for the Arts Resource Collective of Savannah, and a writer for ArtPlace America.
