Art Rise Savannah is incredibly excited to announce a new partnership with the Textile Society of America to produce a series of eight simultaneous exhibitions organized by nationally recognized curators as part of the TSA's biennial symposium, "Crosscurrents: Land, Labor, and the Port" right here in Savannah, Georgia. Art Rise is seeking sponsors to help support the exhibitions and increase the accessibility of this event for the entire community.

The eight exhibitions will be installed in at least six local galleries and unique alternative spaces. Confirmed locations include the City of Savannah's Cultural Arts Gallery, Art Rise Savannah's Non-Fiction Gallery, Oglethorpe Gallery, and Jelinek Creative Spaces. More spaces will be announced in the weeks to follow.

The exhibitions selected for this project were hand picked by the TSA's Exhibitions Committee from a pool of 30 submissions. Selected exhibition curators include Katherine Soucie from Vancouver, Canada; Catharine Ellis from Waynesville, North Carolina; Sarah Kabot from Cleveland Heights, Ohio; Namita Wiggers from Portland, Oregon; Molly Fox from Bloomington, Indiana; Yoshiko Wada from Berkeley, California; Janice Lessman-Moss from Kent, Ohio; and Isaac Facio from Chicago, Illinois.
