Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Monday, September 26th, 2016

On Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Dr. Allen Hunt will present Dynamic Catholic’s “The Four Signs: Incredible Possibilities for Your Life and Your Parish.” This event will take place at Blessed Sacrament, located at 1003 E. Victory Drive, Savannah, GA 31405.

Dynamic Catholic and Dr. Hunt want guests to come and discover how four life-changing habits can lead you to discover incredible possibilities for life, based on three universal principles:

1. You are here to become the best version of yourself.

2. Virtue is the ultimate organizing principle, whether it is in a person’s life, one’s marriage, or the life of a nation.

3. It is better to live with self-control than without it.

“We invite you to join our parishioners and listen to the powerful message from Dr. Allen Hunt,” said Fr. Brett Brannen, pastor at Blessed Sacrament, Catholic Church. “You will leave this event with a personal plan to help you become the best version of yourself.”

Dr. Hunt is a nationally recognized speaker and best-selling author. His books include: “Confessions of a Mega-Church Pastor: How I Discovered the Hidden Treasures of the Catholic Church;” “Everybody Needs to Forgive Somebody;” and “Nine Words: A Bible Study to Help You Become the Best-Version-of-Yourself.” Hunt was previously a senior pastor at Mount Pisgah in Alpharetta, Ga., outside Atlanta, before stepping down in 2007 to pursue speaking and writing.

“The event is designed to be appropriate for ages 12 and older,” said Maria Oxnard, co-chair for the event. “Youth are encouraged to attend, as well as, husbands and wives, single or married, young or old, Catholic or non-Catholic. All are invited.”
