She is currently the Director of Online Communications for North Point Hospitality, an award-winning hotel development and management company. Jackie was the 1st recipient of the Junior League of Savannah's Lucy Barrow McIntire Provisional Member of the Year Award as well as receiving the honor of being the 1st recipient of the Tourism Leadership Council President’s Award.

The Ronald McDonald House provides over 4200 family nights each year at our “home away from home” for critically ill and injured children and their families.  Families come from across Georgia, from our neighboring southeastern states, and from many other areas of the United States to stay during the hospitalization of their child.  It is a very special home that opens its doors during a time of need. Savannah’s Ronald McDonald House is conveniently located across the street from the Children’s Hospital of the Memorial Hospital System, and just down the Road from St. Joseph Candler Hospital.  When a child is sick, the entire family is affected.  Having a “home base” minutes from the patient’s bedside gives a sense of comfort and security during emotionally trying periods.

"I am truly honored to join such a prestigious board of directors," said Jackie Schott. "I look forward to being a part of this wonderful team and sharing the mission of the Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire with the community."

The 19-member RMHC of the Coastal Empire board, led by President Lynn Brennan, also includes Lisa Pinyan, Ashley Dodd, Geoffrey Smith, Rebecca Page, Amy Henderson, Drew Ambos, Donna Sapp Ball, Ed Bradley, Dr. Sarah Brawner, Sherry Danello, Carter Eubank, Richard Gernier Jr., Bill Lee, Cecilia Russo, Monica Spells, Gary Stanberry, Allen Williams and Lisa Dean.
