The Savannah Food and Wine Festival’s first-ever Whisky at The Whitman will offer guests an exclusive tasting experience as they sample some of the best brands available within the elegant confines of a beautifully restored Victorian mansion. The event, slated for 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, will feature a cigar bar and gourmet culinary pairings whipped up by celebrity chefs Scott Crawford and Ryan Prewitt, and The Whitman’s Executive Chef Robert Vardzel.

Tickets cost $150 each and are available at http://www.savannahfoodandwinefest.com/whisky-at-the-whitman.html. One-hundred percent of the ticket proceeds will benefit the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire, a nonprofit that financially assists the families of fallen and injured first responders throughout Coastal Georgia and South Carolina. The Whitman Mansion is located at 611 Whitaker St. in Savannah’s renowned historic district.
