Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Tuesday, October 25th, 2016

Please join the Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce, Richmond Hill Mayor Harold Fowler and other guests for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening of Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy, Friday, November 4th at 11:30 a.m. at 2459 US Highway 17 South, suite B next to Bubba’s Bistro.

Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy was founded in 2011 by two friends and Speech-Language Pathologists, Leslie Bigwood and Beth Fleming.  It was born from a desire to simplify the lives of families by providing easily accessible therapy services to children in the greater Savannah area. “Initially, we set out to just be a small practice with only the two of us, but we quickly realized the great need for a multi-disciplinary clinic outside the immediate Savannah area,” says Beth Fleming. “We began by bringing on Occupational Therapist Kimberly Zellner, who is a resident of Richmond Hill, and we have continued to grow each year. We now have over 20 therapists combined for Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy.”

“We have many patients and therapists who have been faithfully traveling the long distance each week from Hinesville and Richmond Hill, so it only seemed natural to open our second location out this way,” adds Leslie.  “We are so excited to be joining the beautiful town of Richmond Hill. So far, we have had such a wonderful reception from local residents in the area.”

Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy offers various therapies to address delays in speech & language, fine & gross motor, oral motor-feeding, sensory integration, developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome as well as a wheelchair seating clinic.
