United Way of the Coastal Empire has received a big boost in its effort to help local residents affected by Hurricane Matthew.  Commercial Roofing Specialties donated a 12,000 Watt power generator to help the DeLoach family who is still currently without power after the hurricane.

Earlier this week, United Way learned that Daniel DeLoach of Burnside Island is chronically ill and on a ventilator that was being powered by two generators.  One of his generators stopped working.  Upon learning of the situation, Commercial Roofing Specialties, a wholesale distributor of roofing materials and equipment headquartered in Doraville, Georgia, with a location in Savannah, stepped up to the plate and donated a brand new 12,000 Watt power generator to make sure that Daniel DeLoach is safe and secure.

Daniel DeLoach is suffering from Proteus syndrome and was not supposed to live past 13 years old.  He is 30 years young and continually beats all odds, including the Hurricane Matthew.
