Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home Reschedules 2016 Peacock Party Due to Hurricane Matthew

Due to the threat of severe weather associated with Hurricane Matthew, the board of directors for the Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home in Savannah, Ga. has decided to postpone the 2016 Peacock Party, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2016.
 
The Peacock Party will now be held on Friday, October 28 from 5-8 p.m. at 508 E. Taylor Street in Savannah. This event will celebrate the 27th anniversary of the Flannery O’Connor Home Foundation, Inc. and the ongoing effort to preserve this award-winning author’s legacy in her hometown of Savannah.
 
The Peacock Party supports ongoing programs, building maintenance and outreach initiatives at the Flannery O'Connor Childhood Home. A $100 donation per person is requested. Period-appropriate dress is optional. Please RSVP by calling 912.233.6014 or emailing [email protected].
