Tuesday, October 11th, 2016

Georgia Tech-Savannah announced it is cancelling its October Learners and Leaders session, “Innovation in Savannah,” originally scheduled for Thursday, October 13, 2016, due to Hurricane Matthew.

“While we are disappointed to have to cancel this Learners and Leaders session, we need to accommodate attendees and staff who must tend to their own cleanup efforts,” said Diane Lee, director of Georgia Tech-Savannah.

Georgia Tech-Savannah’s Learners and Leaders series is an effort launched in 2014 to help companies in the coastal region stay current. To date, members of the coastal community have heard speakers on topics of relevance to the business community, including mobile apps and malware. The November 10 event will focus on the Internet of things, the internetworking of physical devices.
