Tuesday, October 4th, 2016

Savannah area residents are invited to patronize Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Oct. 18 to enjoy a delectable, juicy burger in the name of charitable giving.

The popular fast-casual eatery, located at 5500 Abercorn St. in the Twelve Oaks shopping center, has partnered with Greenbriar Children’s Center for a Community Night. From 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, the restaurant will donate 30 percent of all sales to Greenbriar.

Greenbriar Children’s Center is a non-profit organization that promotes the healthy development of children and young adults, as well as the strengthening of families through services provided. These services include an emergency shelter, runaway/homeless support, residential care, independent living, family preservation, early childhood education and care, and Project Safe Place.

“Come out to Five Guys’ location on the Southside of Savannah and enjoy a delicious dinner with friends. What better way to support Greenbriar Children’s Center and help us raise awareness for our mission to assist and advocate for the area’s youth and families?” Greenbriar Executive Director Gena Taylor said. “We are grateful to Five Guys Burgers and Fries for being our fundraising partner and providing this opportunity to get the community involved with our organization.”
