The Savannah Downtown Business Association luncheon Wednesday, October 12, at the Charles Morris Center, 10 East Broad Street will feature an update on “PARKING MATTERS!” by Sean Brandon, Bureau Chief for the City of Savannah’s Management Services. Networking for the event begins at 11AM and the program starts at 12PM.  Event registration deadline is October 7 at www.savannahdba.com and cost for SDBA members is $25, $35 non-members and elected officials, $10.

As part of his presentation, Brandon will address parking and mobility updates, recommendations and implementation. According to the City of Savannah, the Parking Matters study has identified the existing conditions regarding parking supply and demand in the greater downtown area, included feedback and suggestions from community members as well as developed strategies for the city’s downtown parking and transportation system.

Brandon began working as a management intern with the City of Savannah in 2001 before being hired as a Management Services Coordinator. He later served as Assistant to the City Manager and Mobility and Parking Services Director.  Brandon has a bachelor’s degree from Hampton University and master of public administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
