Savannah Native Kevin Sheehan Elected President-Elect for National AMBUCS

Kevin Sheehan was nominated as President-elect for the National-AMBUCS organization to serve the 2016-2017 AMBUCS year. Sheehan accepted this nomination at the AMBUCS National Conference in Tuscon, AZ.

AMBUCS, (pronounced AM-BUCKS), is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating mobility and independence for people with different abilities. The Savannah chapter assists with providing Amtryke therapeutic tricycles to individuals, awarding academic scholarships and by hosting their bowling events.

As president-elect, Sheehan will be responsible for the following duties:

-Serve as president in the event of the absence or inability of the president to serve or perform;

-Attend all meetings of the executive committee, national board of directors and the national conference;

-Attend and participate in the regional convention in the region where residing and in any other region requested by the president;

-Attend regional spring training conferences designated by the president;

-Perform any and all other duties assigned by the president and/or board of directors.
