Union Mission Holiday Program Brings Hope This Holiday Season

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Tuesday, November 1st, 2016

Union Mission, in partnership with Gulfstream and Sodexo, will distribute over 600 meals this holiday season. For the homeless and hungry in Savannah, Union Mission will be their holiday home even before the holidays officially begin.

“We want to send the message that the holiday spirit of giving and support extends beyond just the day itself,” said Union Mission’s Executive Director, Steve Allison. “Thanks to the generous support of Gulfstream and Sodexo, we will be able to bring extra joy to those who may otherwise have very little to celebrate and to send them the message that this life-changing help is available all year round.”

The Thanksgiving meal will be served on Wednesday, November 23rd from 12 PM to   2 PM in the dining hall at Grace House (120 Fahm Street).

The Christmas meal will be served on Friday, December 23rd from 12 PM to 2 PM in the dining hall at Grace House (120 Fahm Street).

These meals will be open to all and provided at no cost to the guests. Everyone is welcome.
