Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Monday, November 14th, 2016

Savannah Business Connection to host local businesses for a Visitor’s Day at Hilton Garden Inn Midtown on Tuesday, November 15 at 11:30 a.m. Tammy Toler from Country Financial will be the featured speaker. Cost to attend is $15 and includes lunch.

Savannah Business Connection is Savannah’s first chapter of BNI, a professional networking organization for exchanging qualified business referrals. By curating membership to one vetted representative per profession, Savannah Business Connection limits competition, attracts local business leaders, and facilitates strong collaboration among members. The group generated over $1,000,000 in revenue among members last year.

Each meeting of Savannah Business Connection features structured opportunities for member visibility and education within the group. In addition, one member per week gives a focused presentation about opportunities for networking and collaboration as well as goals for ongoing business and community development.

“If you’ve ever tried networking meetings before and been disappointed with the results, attend our meeting to experience how BNI’s principle of “Givers Gain,” in conjunction with sound networking practices, creates a powerful referral network with a diverse group of business professionals that would otherwise be difficult to access.” — Paul Bathe, Alarms Plus. President, Savannah Business Connection

All business owners or managers are welcome to attend this networking event. Businesses that conflict with current members will not have an opportunity to speak during the meeting, but may be eligible to join another chapter in the area.
