West Rehab & Sports Medicine, an award-winning provider of physical therapy and wellness services, recently hired Stephen Morris, PT, DPT, CMTPT, as a physical therapist at the company’s Hinesville clinic located at 475 South Main Street in Hinesville, Ga.

In his position, Morris  provides treatment to West Rehab patients with a variety of diagnoses including: orthopedic diagnoses, proprioceptive issues, post-surgical rehabilitation, and neurological diagnoses. This also includes creating treatment plans that could include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, dry needling, and home exercise programs.

Prior to joining the West Rehab team, Morris served as a physical therapist for Physiotherapy Associates in Stockbridge, Ga., where he examined, evaluated, and treated a wide variety of physical therapy patients. “I chose physical therapy as my profession because it is extremely rewarding to witness a patient’s progress as they reach their personal goals throughout the rehabilitation process,” said Morris. “Physical therapy is always changing, and I like the challenge of always learning new ideas or techniques to better help my patients.”

Morris graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Valdosta State University, magna cum laude, and earned a doctorate of Physical Therapy from Armstrong Atlantic University.
